After a serious Achilles tendon injury playing hockey, this 14-year-old athlete was told she would have to live with chronic pain for the rest of her life. She struggled to walk, missed out on sports and social activities, and even needed a wheelchair for longer outings. After starting at Align, she began seeing improvement within the first month and learned how to properly stretch, strengthen, and listen to her body to prevent future pain. Today, she’s back to playing hockey, biking, backpacking, and living an active, pain-free life.
