Who We Serve

At Align we focus on fixing people who are in chronic pain and ready to try something different. Below are a few simple questions for you to answer that might help you determine if Align is the right choice to help you navigate your journey in the days to come.

Am I A Good Fit For Align?

We focus on fixing people in chronic pain who are tired of getting offered a pill, injection, and surgery that doesn’t fix the underlying root problem. We shine when working with neck pain, shoulder pain, back pain, hip pain, knee pain, and ankle/foot pain when you or your doctor would rather not do surgery.

We are especially useful in more complicated cases when multiple joints are tight, immobile, and weak, all feeding into your pain problem. If this description fits your current circumstances, then Align is for you.

I don’t have pain. Is Align for me?

Just because you don’t currently have pain, doesn’t mean your body is working as it should. The best time to fix a pain problem is while it is small, not painful, and non-surgical. Many people come to Align because they want to know how to maintain their joints and avoid surgeries in the future. Many come because they recognize they are not as strong as they used to be, and want to be stronger and stay strong.

Many of our clients want to know how to exercise safely and productively. All too often people waste their time unknowingly doing unproductive and dangerous workouts. So, if you want to get your body working optimally, improve your posture, mobility, and strength, and learn how to maintain your joints with wisdom, Align is for you.

How does Align differ from physical therapy?

Physical therapists are great, and absolutely needed, in acute and post-surgical situations. When the situation has developed over longer than a few months, the effectiveness of physical therapists often decreases quickly.

The reason for this is simple.

It’s not because they don’t know what they are doing (cough cough….well, sometimes). Physical therapists are often less effective with chronic situations because they are hand-cuffed by the insurance industry. They are forced to focus on only one joint at a time, which is out of touch with how your body works. They are limited to an average of 12 sessions, which isn’t long enough to walk with you to a sustainable point of full body mobility and strength, which means you will fall back into pain in a matter of months. They are forced to limit their time and attention they can give you, which leaves you feeling unseen, unheard, and unmotivated.

This whole situation is a recipe for failure. So if you are ready to go beyond physical therapy, Align is for you.

If you’re still not sure, schedule a free consultation and let’s talk through where you are and where you want to go. Together we can determine if Align is right for you.
